Our Personal Development programme has been carefully designed with our students at the centre of all that we do. We are passionate about providing young people with rich educational opportunities that are inclusive and enable them all to become healthy, independent, responsible and safe members of a society.
At The Morley Academy, our Personal Development programme aims to help young people to understand how they are developing personally and socially, and tackles many of the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up. We provide our students with opportunities for them to learn about British Values and appreciate what it means to be a member of a diverse society. Our students are encouraged to develop their sense of self-worth by playing a positive role in contributing to academy life and the wider community through enrichment, student leadership, our house system opportunities and many more.
We work in collaboration with students, families and external providers to ensure that we have an ambitious approach to Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) with wide possibilities for all pupils so that they understand more about how what their learning contributes to their future successes and career options.
