Friends of Morley (FOM) is an open, informal and welcoming group of parents and carers who take an active part in supporting learning.

The group aims to:

  • Support school visits and events, such as the Rewards Trips, Intake Evenings, the annual academy production, and trips abroad too.

  • Raise money for the academy – Recent purchases include a full set of football kit for the school team costing over £360 and electrical dimmer equipment costing just under £280 for the Drama department.

  • Organise social activities to foster a positive relationship between the academy and parents/carers.

  • Provide an opportunity for communication and consultation between staff and parents/carers.

We know modern life can be hectic: you can commit as little or as much time as you like. Above all, we aim to make Friends of Morley fun. All members of the team receive free first aid training and are DBS checked to work with children.
