Thursday 29th November saw the last Engage Evening of the calendar year, which on this occasion was run by The Be Smart team. Attendees worked with both Miss Easton and Miss Robinson in looking at the Be Smart curriculum as a whole, before focusing on the importance of mental health in young people. Students and their parents/carers analysed a variety of resources before closing with a group discussion on factors that can influence mental health and what can be done to ensure young people stay healthy. The evening was warmly received by our attendees, with one parent calling it “The best and most useful Engage Evening we have ever attended.”
